As you probably know, ISAF, the International Sailing Federation have developed In-House Certification (IHC) to permit equipment manufacturers to self certify their own products. This offers the advantages to manufacturers of providing a complete service to their customers in a manner accepted by certification authorities.

The RORC Rating Office, acting as the IRC Rule Authority for IRC in GBR, have now decided that with effect from 1^st January 2011, sailmakers submitting sail data for an IRC Endorsed certificate for British owned boats will be required to be IHC certified.
