Industry IRC services

The RORC Rating Office works closely with the wide-ranging marine industry who are involved in yacht development for IRC Rating.

From designers, manufacturers and classes to sailmakers we are supporting the industry to help them with the IRC rule, IRC measurement, issuing IRC design trials and providing IRC boat data. We also receive feedback from the industry relating to yacht design trends and rule beating features that helps inform the development of IRC.

The Rating Office is responsible for the RORC Technical Sub-committee who assist RORC in all aspects of technical yacht design and racing, and the group includes industry leaders from yacht design, sail making, measurement, classes, manufacturing, events, regulatory bodies and safety.
