IRC Advocates

The IRC Advocate Scheme is an offer to sailing clubs to help them develop and encourage IRC racing and assist the club’s boat owners in obtaining an IRC certificate.

The best way of helping owners is to have a local, available and knowledgeable person who can assist owners in obtaining an IRC certificate. The scheme relies on an identified IRC advocate in the area who administers the scheme at the club and works with owners on IRC applications and assistance with getting boat data etc.

The boat owners will receive a 15% reduction on the standard fee for all types of IRC certificates, amendments and trials. The Sailing Club will be responsible for payment for all applications under this offer and we can confirm costs on request.

For more information please contact the RORC Rating Office and see if you are eligible for the scheme.
